Air Trap
Introduction – Air Trap
Air Traps is a self-contained and automatic valve which drains the condensate automatically from air piping, compressed air systems, gas system, and receiver tanks. There are two basic designs for the air trap such as an Inverted Bucket Design, a Ball Float Design and a Balanced Pressure Thermostatic Design based on the operating conditions and applications. Most of the traps can be fitted with a pressure at balancing line to ensure air can escape from the trap body to prevent air locking.
