Introduction – Thermostatic AIR VENT FOR STEAM SERVICE
When the TS70AV AIR VENT is installed at a high point position, steam enters and push out the cool air out quickly. It automatically closes when the temperature reaches 90°C, allowing the steam's thermal energy to fully explode in order to make energy-efficient and reduce production time.
Why to use TS70AV
After steam lines and heat exchangers shut down and cool, the internal steam is replaced with air and non-condensable gases. In concept, 2.5mm thick air has the same thermal insulation capacity as 430mm thick cast iron plate. When steam is reintroduced, the cold air mixes with the steam, blocking the steam's heat transfer. This results in significant energy consumption, reduced heat transfer efficiency, and increased production time.
Feature:
- It is suitable for use in non-superheated steam mains within 32 kgs. It is at the ends of tracer pipes and at the top of condensate manifolds, and above heat exchangers.
- Install the outlet facing upward, with the piping hanging down to the ground for easy inspection. Install a stop valve before the TS70AV Air Vent to facilitate disassembly and maintenance.
- All Stainless Steel construction resists to corrosive environment.
